Regional Development Australia Southern Inland (RDA Southern Inland), with support from Coordinare - South Eastern NSW PHN, is excited to launch a new website for Southern Inland businesses, BusSI (Business Southern Inland). This region-centric website allows time-poor businesses in the Southern Inland region to connect with others and access business support and information.
On the 6th October, Wendy Tuckerman MP, officially launched the website at Goulburn Connect.
The idea for this website was borne following an unprecedented series of disasters that has affected businesses beyond belief. With drought, floods, bushfires and now the Covid-19 pandemic, RDA Southern Inland saw a need to develop a website that improved the dissemination and accessibility of information for businesses struggling in an uncertain economy.
BusSI includes information relating to networking opportunities, grants and funding, start-up support, events, news and lots more.
Carisa Wells, CEO of RDA Southern Inland, is extremely proud of the website and the assistance it can provide to businesses.
“We are excited to finally launch this website which we have been working so hard on. We really believe this website can make a difference to local businesses and our local economy, by assisting them to continue to grow and succeed.”
Wendy Tuckerman, Local Member for Goulburn, was delighted to launch the website at Goulburn Connect, coinciding with NSW Small Business Month.
“What we have discovered in the past few months is the volume of information is just mind boggling... I love the idea of this website because it is local and it is regional…its pertinent to what you’re doing as a small business.”
Wendy also spoke about the importance of small business to keep communities running and the need to continue to collaborate, made easy by websites like BusSI.
“It’s important that we share and learn from each other as to what we can do in business to improve,” said Wendy.
