Queanbeyan Connect was held again last night, with about 30 people coming along to listen to a special guest speaker. Local businesses came out in force to hear from Dean Lynch, from Snowy Hydro, about how they can become involved in Snowy 2.
Goulburn Connect was held at The Collective on Tuesday night and the winter weather certainly didn’t deter businesses. Over 50 people attended the networking event and listened to a number of ‘pitches’ from local businesses and community groups.

Late last year, Regional Development Australia Southern Inland (RDASI) conducted a skills audit of businesses in the Southern Inland region to identify and explore skills gaps in the region.
The inaugural Snowy Monaro Business Awards were held on Friday 18th May at The Station in Jindabyne. The night was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate local businesses in the Snowy Monaro region.

It was another strong turnout, with about 40 people from Goulburn Mulwaree and Wingecarribee Shires attending the business networking event.

The first Braidwood Connect of 2018 was held on the 5th April, with almost 40 businesses attending the meet up at the Longbarn and String.
The Federal Minister for Regional Development, Territories and Local Government John McVeigh, has announced the appointment of Mr Hugh Cooke of Yass as the new Chairman of Regional Development Australia Southern Inland (RDASI).
