Ag Day

Innovation in Ag Conference and Gala Dinner

We were saddened to announce that due to circumstances outside our control, 2022s planned Innovation in Ag Conference and Gala Dinner had to be postponed.

We made the difficult decision to postpone the Innovation in Ag conference and gala dinner, due to be held on November 25, 2022. The program was set to educate, inspire and influence, with expert speakers from across the country and local farming legends, sharing the stage in Goulburn.

We listened to the market and made this decision based on the experiences our farming sector was currently going through. The catastrophic flooding in our region, the concern over a new covid variant, the federal budget announcement, another rise in interest rates, the increased cost of fuel and feed and high inflation levels across the economy challenged every element of this event.

Our team worked tirelessly over 3 months to bring together an incredible conference agenda including expert speakers, industry sponsors, our charity partner in Rural Aid including amazing donated auction items. We believe we had a winning formula, but the timing just didn’t seem right given the circumstances our Ag sector was dealing with in our region.

We would like to thank our wonderful Ag Day sponsors, Region Group, Telstra, NSW Farmers and WFi Local Land Services - South East, NBN Co, Goulburn - Mulwaree Council, Wingecarribee Shire Council, National Australia Bank, Investment Plus Accounting, Regional Development Australia-ACT and Tribe Breweries along with our incredible speakers and MCs for all of their support and understanding and we are looking forward to working again towards a superior event this year.

What was Planned

After interruptions over the last two years, we were going a step further in 2022 with a conference, gala dinner and charity auction celebrating Ag Day 22.

Last year’s theme Innovation in Ag focused on high-tech and innovative processes followed by a paddock to plate gala dinner both to be held on Friday 25 November 2022 in Goulburn.

The conference is an opportunity to learn about future Agri-development with keynote speakers and panel discussions from our agriculture experts either onsite or via a virtual presentation.
